Day #27 - Weekend in Connecticut ... and a bit of this and that!

Good evening, friends!

We had a lovely weekend down in CT watching our daughter play softball with her high school team. A GREAT group of ladies, who all LOVED their bag tags!  I was thrilled to see that some of them went and decorated where their names go!

Daughter's teams bags - "bag tags" visible on some of them!  So cool!

Here's one of my DD, sweetie pie that she is!  One of our friends said that they KNOW she's one of the kindest, nicest young women you can ever meet, but when she's on the mound, she's downright scary!  Lol!

The reason her team headed down to CT was that their weather has been better and fields are playable.  Just could't resist this photo of some flowers down there!  Mmmmm....just lovely!!

Congrats go out to Elaine, the winner of the Thimbleberries pattern and coordinating fabrics!  Hope you enjoy them!  Watch the blog tomorrow for next week's giveaway!

My creativeness for the weekend was some knitting last night (gotta admit, not a lot, I was waaaaay too tired after all that fresh air!) and then lots of photography!  My favorite shots are the action ones and then the candids!  Too much fun!

Heading into the studio-space to work on my latest idea for something to share.  Comes out of the Fruity Fun project a half dozen of us are doing together!  Stop by tomorrow and you can see what I am tossing out there!

Hope everyone has a lovely, quiet evening!
Quilty hugs,
Carrie
