It's fairy house time at the Historical Society where I work! Have you heard of or seen any of these? OMG...they are soooo fun! There is a wonderful series by Tracy and Barry Kane including this one Fairy Houses Everywhere that we got at the Toadstool Bookstore to give away in a drawing tomorrow!
There are some wonderful websites about fairies and fairy houses - I've check LOTS of them out because of this project! Here are a few I particularly enjoyed:
Fairyhouse.com is the one dedicated to Tracy Kane's materials and ideas. Very sweet!
There is a wiki-how with a Youtube video here.
Little did I know, there is a "fairy building code"! Lol!
How about a blog about the fairy world? Take a peek!
How about a fairy tree house, fairy wings, wands and doors? Visit here!
We've been creating at the Whitt Household and here's what we have so far:
The girls first "house" |
There is a nest they found, resting on the top! |
Parts and pieces, ready for construction! |
There will be pictures either tomorrow or Sunday from our event!
Happy creating!
Carrie
